When did you get engaged?
29th Feb 2004 – On a leap year (Feb 29th) tradition says that a woman can propose to a man, I was able to propose myself so I proposed!

Was the engagement a surprise? / Were you expecting it?
Since I planned it – NO!!!  We had discussed getting married and so my husband was not that shocked

Where did you get engaged?
At the Burnham Beaches hotel – We had breakfast went for a lovely walk and I proposed there and then – I was quite nervous

What was good about it?
He said yes!

Did you help design / pick the ring?
Yes – We got the ring after the event of course because I didn’t know what my partner would say!

What type of ring is your engagement ring?
A platinum with small and elegant diamond – I love it and it makes me happy looking at it!
