Not at all - I was expecting presents, it was Christmas Day after all!

What happened?
He went downstairs and got into his suit, then came back with breakfast and the ring on a tray. I said 'yes' straight away. I guess it was a way out of getting me a present that year!
Did you help design / pick the ring?
Nope, it was chosen by him, and he got it spot on. I suspect that he got help from his sister!
What type of ring is your engagement ring?
It's a decent sized diamond on a simple white-gold band.
